Dinghy Sailing Classes will be held every Tuesday
and Thursday evenings, for 3 weeks. Price
is $240.00 per person minimum 6 required for the course. Courses to be held starting
June 12; July 10, and August 7.
This is
an introductory hands-on course, designed to teach basic skills.
The entire time is spent on the water. You will be supervised by
our CYA instructors.
The only things that
you need to bring are a pair of non-slip, non-marking shoes, a
bathing suit, and a Canadian Coast Guard approved lifejacket or
PFD. We supply the rest!
Keel boat sailing
will be held this year in a club 24’ Shark sailboat. A maximum of 4 students per
course will provide a focused opportunity to experience sailing
on a more stable platform, similar to many of the member
boats. This course will
teach the basics of boat handling, engine operation, docking and
sailing. Courses will be held Tuesdays
and Thursdays for 3 weeks each, starting May 15, June 12, July 10,
and August 7 at a cost of $300.00 per person
